Position Title: Partnerships Manager
Reports To: Program Director
Position Location: Chisinau, Moldova
The Partnerships Manager is a senior position that will provide oversight of the partnerships team. The position is based in Chisinau, Moldova with frequent travel throughout the country. The position requires managerial experience supervising staff, experience developing national partnerships and designing and implementing programs and initiatives. The Partnerships Manager must have knowledge of community development.
Ghiliceni Public Library – a new player on the online sales market
Ghiliceni Public Library is supporting local farmers on the social network odnoklassniki to sell their agricultural products such as honey, sunflower seeds, beans, and wine.
The service has been created to meet the requests of the villagers longing to free access to the internet in the recently renovated public library.
IT assistance to social assistants
The Orhei Regional Training Center helps social workers learn how to use technology and serve community members in new and innovative ways.
After partnering with the Novateca program and receiving new computers and IT training, the Orhei Public Library is now positioned as a community center that not only offers free access to computer and internet but also, provides the community members with a space to develop their own project proposals and to practice their skills.
